Weekly Gatherings

Sunday School - 10:45 am on Sundays
Each week we gather in the upper level of the Activity Center (AC) to connect with friends and to study God's word together. Our hope is that as students continue to engage in Sunday School they will grow in their ability and confidence to open up God's word, study it for themselves, and understand how what they are reading fits into God's larger story.

Junior High and High School meet next door to each other, but have separate classes on Sunday mornings.
Youth Group - 6-7:45 pm onWednesdays
Our Wednesday night gathering is our main connection point in the week. Our hope is that this time helps students learn how to follow Jesus together as friends. With that in mind we have a variety of different things that happen, but you can expect to play games, worship through music, have large group teaching time, as well as connection with peers in small groups of the same gender and around the same age. All of this happens in The Crossing (youth room) Wednesday nights!
Special Events
There are so many things we do in Grace Student Ministry throughout the year. Whether its weekend retreats, summer camping trips, service/mission trips to Albania, or just gathering to play some wiffle ball in the church yard, there is always something happening. Join us for WinterXtreme, a weekend retreat at Camp Timber-lee in East Troy, WI. WinterXtreme is designed to give you the opportunity to build a deeper relationship with God and with friends in the youth group.

How Do I Find Out What's Happening in the Student Ministry?

We never want communication to be the barrier to building relationships. Here are the three best ways to stay in the know for everything happening in the student ministry.

1. Email - Our main communication stream. You can join the email list by filling out the communication form at the bottom of this page. 

2. Web - Bookmark gracenormal.org/students for quick access to everything happening in the student ministry.

3. Social Media - On occasion we will use social media to communicate. Here are a couple spots you may want to follow/join:

 - Parent Facebook Group - This group is for parents only. It is a spot for parents to interact with each other, asking for prayer, sharing resources, etc. It is also a spot I use to communicate quickly with parents, especially when we are coming back from events or maybe when plans change for youth group. Click here to check it out!

 - Youth Group Facebook Profile - This is a Facebook profile for the student ministry. We will use it occasionally to promote different events in the ministry. Click here to check it out!

 - Instagram - The youth group has an Instagram page that a couple of our students will be managing alongside Pastor Mike. This will be a fun spot for us to highlight different members of the youth group and to share photos from events. It will also be a spot for students to get a quick reminder when events are coming up. Click here to check it out!
