First Sunday worship service was held on July 9, 1960 in the basement of Warren & Melba Slaughter's home, 810 S. Grove Street.

The 12-family church purchased the 5 1/2 acre plot on which our current campus sits.
The original sanctuary was completed. This area is now the Fireside Room.
Grace Church took on its first missionary.
Present sanctuary built.
Activity Center opened.
Pastor Ed Scearce was hired as the senior pastor. There have been 9 total senior pastors throughout Grace's history, and only 2 in the last 30+ years.
The congregation voted to change from the original name of Grace Baptist Church to Grace Church. While the name "Baptist" accurately describes our doctrine and practices, we have always been independent and not affiliated with any particular Baptist denomination. Our doctrinal statement and church practices remain unchanged.
The Crossing for Youth was completed.
Kidzone Children's Wing was completed.
Graceful Beginnings Preschool opened.
We partner with over 40 missionaries and mission organizations, worldwide. We strive to be missional in our neighborhood with programs such as One by One tutoring and Operation Backpack with our local school. Our Connect@Home ministry equips families in their relationships.
